Terms of Service
Important: Momo.fit provides general wellness and fitness tracking tools. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional care.
1. Agreement
By downloading or using Momo.fit (the “App”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your country) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and notify us of unauthorized use. You can delete your account in the App settings.
4. Wellness disclaimer
Content in the App — including calorie estimates, workout suggestions, body-composition estimates, habit coaching, and AI Coach replies — is for informational and motivational purposes only. Always consult a qualified professional before making health, diet, or exercise changes. If you have a medical condition or emergency, seek appropriate care immediately.
5. Subscriptions (Momo+)
- Optional paid features may be offered as auto-renewing subscriptions (for example monthly or yearly).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel in your device’s subscription settings (Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions).
- Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
- Prices shown in the App are provided by the store and may vary by region.
Purchases are also subject to Apple’s or Google’s payment terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the service
- Upload unlawful, abusive, or infringing content
- Use the AI Coach for clinical diagnosis, illegal activity, or to harm others
- Reverse engineer or scrape the service except where allowed by law
7. Your content
You retain rights to content you submit (logs, photos, messages). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the App. Friends/social features only share what you choose to share.
8. Intellectual property
The App, branding, companion character, and related materials are owned by Momo.fit or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership rights in the App.
9. Third-party services
The App may integrate Apple Health, Health Connect, Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, and app stores. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those services.
10. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or specific fitness/weight outcomes.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Momo.fit and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Momo+ in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons. Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers and limitations) will survive termination.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, except where local law requires additional consent.
